From its beginnings as a deserted farmhouse to one of the most famous attractions in Europe, a potted history of the ups and downs of the city’s best loved building. Hear about ‘Prinny’ the Prince Regent, who loved his food and drink…and the ladies. Life in the Pavilion as a royal court, and as a family home. Why the Pavilion was very nearly demolished, and the amazing story of how it was saved ‘in the nick of time’.

Brian Ogilvie is a man of Hove but currently exiled in Brighton. He was worked in the field of taxation for 40+ yrs as adviser, lecturer and examiner.Interests include art, history, architecture, and the English seaside.
