You do not have to carry this alone anymore.The Room is a free, faith-rooted peer support gathering for women who discovered they were adopted as adults. If your adoption discovery disrupted your sense of identity, belonging, or faith, this space was created with you in mind.
This is our very first gathering. And I want you to be in the room.
Here is what to expect: a grounded welcome, a brief Scripture reading, a guided reflection, and space to be with other women who do not need you to explain why this feels heavy. Sharing is always optional. Listening is full participation.
What this is not: This is not therapy, counseling, or a workshop. This is sisterhood. Honest conversation. A safe place to breathe.
A few things to know before you come:
This gathering is limited to 12 women.
RSVP is required. Space is not guaranteed until confirmed.
The exact room location will be shared with confirmed attendees.
Confidentiality is essential. What is shared in The Room stays in The Room.
You do not need to have answers. You do not need to be far along. You do not need to have perfect faith. You just need to be honest.
