About this Event

Featuring founder members Dave Jackson and Becky Stringer, The Room originally performed and recorded from 1980 to 1985, releasing the albums Bitter Reaction, Indoor Fireworks, Clear!, and In Evil Hour. They reformed in 2022 with new members, Darren Brown and Ethan Kyme, to record a new album, Restless Fate, for 9x9 Records. original drummer Clive Thomas returned to the fold in 2023 to do a UK tour with Red Guitars and record 2024's The Telling. The band has since performed in Estonia and contributed a storming set at last August's Preston Pop Fest. They are currently recording a new album of doom pop songs.
