Museum of Printing President Frank Romano will lead a two-part Typographic History Master Class starting in May at the Museum. Entitled "The Romano Typographic History Project" the series will consist of two modules totally ten, 90-minute lecture on major milestones in the history of typographic technology. The topics are:
Module 2:
- History of the Typesetting Service (September 19)
- History of the Printing Press (October 3)
- History of Digital On-Demand Printing (October 17)
- History of Typographic Communication (October 31)
- History and Future of the Printed Product (November 7)
With a Full Module Ticket, there is a discounted tuition fee for members and non-member tuition includes a Museum of Printing individual membership.
All registrants will also receive a 20% discount on any Frank Romano book on the subject in the Museum’s gift shop.
Classes will meet in person at the Museum from 2 to 3:30 pm on Saturdays. This is the second Module and runs from September through November.
Module 1 took place May through June of 2026.
