It’s Murder on The Side’s long-awaited and much-anticipated return to the magnificent main stage at Redditch Palace Theatre, after previously delighting audiences with sell-out whodunnits like “Deadly Diamonds” and “’Allo ‘Allo ‘Allo”.
This time, the worlds of murder mystery and musical parody collide in a hilariously grisly night of camp chaos and interactive sleuthing.
In an original murder mystery plot, Brad and Janet are in love... and they're lost, very lost. They find themselves in the fishnet, high heeled company of Frank and his delectable staff & house guests. But with murder on the menu, who will survive the night... and who would want to leave such a party?
Stephan Bessant (Drag Queen star of Palace Theatre Studio favourites Teena Bizkit’s Tinsel Tease and Afternoon Tease, as well as acclaimed main stage productions Ghost Train and Up N Under) – steps into stilettos and suspicion, playing both the outrageously sexy Frank N Furter and the indefatigable lead detective guiding audiences through the tangled trail of sequins, sass… and sinister secrets.
Audience participation is highly encouraged – and fancy dress is most welcome! Get your posse rounded up, warm up those vocal cords, dust off your fishnets, and get ready to help solve the mystery.
Because even at the Palace… it’s astounding, time is fleeting, and murder is always just around the corner…
