We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a joint workshop with the plant-based brands, students, and individuals for an afternoon of learning, sharing, and networking. This event will take place in person in 28th July 17:00-19:00. The event will be held at UCL(University College London ) BaseKX.
Growth of the Plant-Based Market: The Drivers, Opportunities and Challenges
At this in-person roundtable, we will convene sustainable businesses for an afternoon of learning, sharing, and networking. A short presentation by our key speakers will put forward ideas about the plant-based market, as a basis for broader discussion with the attendees. This session will focus on areas such as challenges, opportunities, and sustainable marketing, but we will be led by the group on specific questions and areas for discussion.
Inspired by Donald Watson and friends as well as Dr T Colin (1940s), we define plant-based approach a way of living that promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of humans, animals, and the environment. This philosophy covers all forms of exploitation of animals for food, clothing, or any other purpose.
The aim of the plant-based event is to offer strategic opportunities to the players in the plant-based industry and provide a platform for organisations to network and relay information about growing market, challenges and opportunities behind plant-based industry.
This workshop will cover:
• How do we understand plant-based products?
• Some useful frameworks and standards to co-create a sustainable market for plant-based products.
• Why to have a plant-based network and how to create one.
What will I learn? This interactive session will explore these questions and will help you to create a practical action plan for a sustainable plant-based market.
Who should attend?
This event is aimed at plant-based products, individuals, thinking of plant-based lifestyle.
