Rob was a church minister. He tragically lost his wife a few years ago. When Rob attended the RIVER, he was close to disbanding his faith. Rob encountered Jesus in his brokenness and now hosts the RIVER in his own town.
In Mexico, the team participating in the RIVER went onto the streets with the supernatural presence of God.
1. A blind lady received her sight
2. A young girl’s withered hand was restored
3. and a lady with an arched back was totally healed.
Most of the people in the Mexico team were young people who had never experienced the power of the Holy Spirit.
Sulu from Kenya could not remember the last time he cried. He told me that Kenyan men don’t cry. When Sulu encountered his Heavenly Father’s love for him on the RIVER, he wept for two days. When he returned to Kenya, the 10 men he was mentoring all cried as he told his story and prayed for them
In Canterbury, God led the team participating in the RIVER to give out roses to people in the community as a demonstration of the Father’s love, and someone was led to wear a sign around her neck which said, ‘Free Hug.’ Time and time again people came for free hugs, and as they received hugs, many busted into tears as they were touched by God.
Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit understand what we need and always meet us where we are.
