About this Event
Rooted in healing, grounded in dignity, and committed to honoring the strength and resilience of survivors.
For five years, this courageous exhibition has created space to uplift survivor voices, affirm lived experiences, and bring our community together in reflection and connection. RISE celebrates the full spectrum of survivor experiences and is grounded in the belief that healing is possible.
We are proud to spotlight local artist lovejaz.art as this year’s featured artist.
Admission is free, and all artwork sales go directly to the artists.
Made possible with generous support from our presenting sponsors Alpine Bank and 40 West Arts.

Who are we? The Blue Bench is metro Denver’s only comprehensive sexual assault prevention and survivor support center. Through issue advocacy, evidence-based prevention programs, and a wide range of low- to no-cost survivor services—including a 24-hour hotline, individual and group therapy, and case management— the Blue Bench has helped hundreds of thousands of people across the Denver metro area move from victim to survivor, guiding them through restorative care that enables community members to heal, regain agency, and thrive.
Our hope is to one day live in a world where sexual assault no longer exists and where there are no more victims, friends, and families suffering in its wake. This is what inspires our efforts. Until that day comes, our work is not complete.
When you see a blue bench in the neighborhood, it stands as a visible promise: in this community, survivors are believed, supported, and never alone. Our bench is welcoming, peaceful, and inclusive—just as our mission demands.
In 2025 alone, we reached hundreds in the Denver community, including:
- 1,889 crisis line contacts answered
- 817 survivors supported through therapy and case management
- 769 community members reached via prevention workshops
