About this Event

One of our most popular classes is back again! It’s been a little while since we visited the vineyards of the Rhône Valley - one of the great wine regions of France. The Rhône river starts high in the Swiss Alps, flows into Lake Geneva, and then continues for 250 miles until it empties into the Mediterranean, just west of Marseille. In the Northern Rhône, you’ll find incredible reds made from the syrah grape in villages like Crozes-Hermitage. In the Southern Rhône, you find amazing blends of grenache, syrah, mourvedre and cinsault in the villages of the Côtes-du- Rhône, Gigondas, Lirac and Chateauneuf-du-Pape. These are great reds to have on hand for chilly winter nights!
