January is still winter — long nights, slow mornings. And since the solstice, something has shifted: the light is returning.
The Returning Light is a calm women’s circle in Surbiton: a gentle pause to reflect and set intentions (not goals) for the year ahead — without pressure, performance, or “new year, new you” energy.
Women have gathered like this for centuries in the darker months — to share warmth, stories, and steady connection. This evening is a small return to that rhythm.
What to expect
soft lighting + a grounded, cosy room
gentle opening + guided reflection
optional sharing (no pressure to speak)
intention-setting ritual (intentions, not goals)
light movement to help the body wake slowly
confidential, non-judgemental space
This is not therapy and not a place for fixing or advice.
Just a warm room where women can arrive as they are.
Tickets: £15 via Eventbrite
