About this Event
The universe is anything but quiet. Join us for The Restless Universe: Cosmic Bursts and Transients, an evening dedicated to an exploration of the energetic, yet short-lived events of our universe. Through engaging and accessible talks, featuring astrophysicists from NASA and leading universities, learn how fast radio bursts, gamma-ray bursts, and kilonovae reveal the universe at its most extreme and dynamic. As the largest single-day space-related event in Toronto, our annual symposia is sure to pique your curiosity (followed by a telescope giveaway as per ASX tradition)!
