The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui is about the rise of a 1930 gangster taking over the Cauliflower trade in Chicago. It is a parable for the rise of fascism, specifically Hitler in 1930's Germany. Our production is set against the backdrop of an abandoned circus tent and includes clowns.Written by Bertolt Brecht, translated by Jennifer Wise, directed by David Stears
