About this Event
Feeling Burned Out?
When the world feels fractured, heavy and overwhelming, the call to heal ourselves and each other grows louder. Creativity, community, and truth may be the medicine we’ve been missing.
Are you ready for The Remedy?
Experience a transformative live show taking place at Georgia Southern University’s Gullah Geechee Heritage Center. This immersive evening weaves powerful storytelling from Temakha’s lived journey of shifting from a successful career in modeling to a purpose-driven path in art therapy with a soul-stirring live concert featuring her award-winning music.
The experience concludes with a sound healing community-building drum circle designed to activate creative approaches to mental health by grounding collective healing in rhythm, reflection, and connection. Rooted in Temakha’s mission to inspire guests to reflect on their own personal power, The Remedy celebrates authentic creativity and encourages each participant to uncover the healing power they already carry within.
Set within the Gullah Geechee Heritage Center, this show promises to be an evening of peaceful restoration and an inspiring and uplifting conclusion to Black History Month 2026.
