Get Ready for The Refill Vol III!
Join us in person for The Refill Vol III, where good vibes and great company come together. It's the perfect chance to hang out, meet cool people, and dive into an unforgettable experience. Don't miss out on all the fun—see you there!
The Refill is a curated monthly after-work experience inspired by the spirit of bohemian salons and reimagined for today’s Newark. Set within the historic spaces of Newark Symphony Hall, it brings together artists, entrepreneurs, educators, and cultural leaders for an evening of creativity, conversation, and connection.
Each month draws inspiration from a different decade in Newark Symphony Hall’s 100-year history, transforming the building into a living tribute to the music, style, and social life that have shaped our city.
This month’s edition, Brush Hour: Make Art, Not War, is inspired by the 1940s, a decade marked by resilience, glamour, and creative expression. Guests are invited to unwind with a guided paint-and-sip experience set to the sounds of big band jazz and early rhythm and blues. Like the dance halls and lounges that offered refuge and joy during challenging times, Brush Hour celebrates art as a way to restore the spirit and bring people together.
No two Refills are the same. Each session reveals a different side of Newark Symphony Hall through thoughtfully curated experiences, interactive activities, and opportunities to meet fellow creatives, professionals, and community leaders.
Enjoy drink specials, music, and a welcoming atmosphere designed to spark new ideas and meaningful relationships.
Admission is free. After reserving your spot, you will have the opportunity to make a donation in support of Newark Symphony Hall’s world-class programs and its ongoing centennial celebration.
