David Hodgson - Loved by many, Hodgie joined Boro in the late 1970s. A pacy and determined striker who moved to Liverpool where he won three league titles and a European Cup.
David Wheater - Redcar lad and towering central defender who came through the Boro youth ranks. Played for Boro in the UEFA Cup then "Wheats” stayed loyal to Boro after their relegation in 2009.
