The Red Bird returns to Art & Soul Rowan! This three man play features Kurt Corriher, Seth Labovitz and Bob Paolino.Three old men, retired, meet every day on a bench in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. On this particular day, a discussion arises concerning a redbird that one of them may or may not have glimpsed in a tree nearby. Is the redbird real, or is someone “losing his marbles?” The conversation drifts into issues of age, of physical and mental decline. Yet, despite those grim realities, despite very different temperaments and attitudes, friendship and humor prevail. “The Redbird” is a play about life and the resilience of the human spirit.
