When we were approached with the idea of Olive and Thorn Vintage Goods starting a pop-up vintage market, we knew this was our next step in God’s beautiful plan and in His timing. After many hours of prayer and soul-searching, Olive and Thorn Vintage Goods has officially curated and organized our very first pop-up vintage market, ‘The Reclaimed Sparrow’s Vintage Market’, a vintage shopping experience to whisk you back in time and to remind you that the lost can always be found. 🕰️✨🙏🏻🌿 This name has a very special meaning for us - when you think of having a vintage business, you think of endless hours hunting and seeking that perfect item that just needs a second chance at a new life. You think of cleaning the dirt and grime. You think of restoring the broken, but still embracing the history and legacy of the imperfections of a life survived, a life lived. Many of the treasures we find have been tossed aside, forgotten, and misplaced - labeled as ‘junk’ even. That’s where we step in to remind everyone that ‘No one and nothing is ever too far gone.’ Isn’t that how God views us? Romans 8:38-39 states, “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” We may be that broken vessel, forgotten by times gone by, bruised, scarred, and scratched by life’s trials to a state of being unrecognizable, marred by sin, useless in many’s eyes. God sees YOU - you’re not too far gone. You just need to be found by the Master, who dedicates every day to chasing YOU. You just need to be cleaned, polished, restored, and made new. Just as God sees and reclaims the sparrow for His own, He sees you. YOU ARE RECLAIMED. Today may be your day to be found.
