The Rebels Project Survivor Gathering

This year marks the 10th annual Rebels Project Survivor Gathering, a private healing retreat bringing together individuals from communities impacted by mass shootings to foster connection, peer support, and collective healing. This year’s gathering will take place July 24-26th. Detailed location information will be shared directly with confirmed participants to support privacy and safety.

We are partnering with the for the morning portion of the Gathering. Our attendees can enjoy live chalk artists, join The Hero’s Journey 5K Run/Walk, participate in yoga and art activities before the private afternoon Gathering. The Rebels Project will provide a private meeting space with water and refreshments for those that want a quiet space during the first half of the day.

Please Note: This is a private event for survivors, family members, and others directly impacted by mass shootings from affected communities. It is not open to the general public.

Info: Attendees and guests are invited to join for a casual dinner to meet Rebels Project team members and other guests for the Gathering. Shared plates and appetizers will be provided, beverages on own expense.

Info: Led by Aurora movie theater survivor Zack Golditch, the 5k is a fundraiser for the Zack Golditch Opportunity Scholarship.

Info: As part of 7/20 Memorial Foundation’s Day of Resilience, attendees can enjoy live chalk artists, yoga, healing art activities, and visit the nearby Aurora Memorial. The Rebels Project will provide a private meeting space, for those that want a quiet space during the first half of the day.

Info: Following lunch, our guest speakers will guide discussions focused on building survivor connection and community. There will also be opportunities for SoulCollage, healing art activities, and yoga.
