The Rattletraps are a band of songwriters based in Durham, NC, creating a culmination of roots rock, country and blues music. With songs about bar fights, working dead end jobs, and the streets of New Orleans, The Rattletraps create anthems that are a perfect storm of cynical, danceable and juuust the right amount of pissed off.
The River Otters are an eclectic, Chapel Hill-based folk-rock band. Songwriter, Robinson Earle, is a deft fingerstyle and bottleneck guitarist with a penchant for magical narratives. Their 2017 self-titled debut was a psychedelic tapestry of country blues. Their last record, Adshusheer, was an instrumental love letter to the land that they call home. Their forthcoming record, “Romp”, is a reflection on youth, liminal space, and the fleeting moments that come to define our lives. Their mesmerizing live sets feature pummeling drums, analog synths, serpentine bass lines, and virtuosic slide guitar.
Ol’ Joey Scrums expertly blends folk, rock, and bluegrass influences into a genre-defying sonic experience, conveying personal stories of authentic emotion and the essence of Americana. With diverse instrumentation and a genuine passion for their craft, they draw upon their varied backgrounds and personal experiences to create art that resonates deeply with audiences. Frequently collaborating with local artists and venues, they have cultivated a dedicated fan base both in and around their home of Raleigh, NC, and worldwide through online streaming and social media. The members of Ol’ Joey Scrums met while performing individually at local live shows and open-mic events in 2022. After over a year of writing, recording, and performing together, they released their debut album “4004” (“forty oh-four”) in February of 2024. Their second studio album, “A Damn Fine Time”, was released in September 2025.
