Join us in a one-day-only celebration for the 40th Anniversary of The Smiths’ seminal LP, The Queen Is Dead!
We’ve curated over 250 items across 13 Exhibits to tell the story of not only the band and the album, but of life as an apostle in the 80’s, of the crew members who contributed behind the scenes, and of the fans who documented it all and kept the legacy alive.
Come and explore a selection of original posters, t-shirts, records, crew member exclusives, never-before-seen photographs, and much, much more!
You will also be the first to learn about a brand new piece of Smiths history, and have the opportunity to take your photograph with the original 40ft backdrop that set the stage for 1986 Queen Is Dead World Tour!
