The Psychology of Cults
Richard Turner has been working as a specialist cult recovery therapist and cult psychology consultant for seven years (www.tothinkagain.co.uk).
Join him at Up A Level York Gaming Lounge on April 8th and April 15th for a two-part event diving into what makes cults tick. We'll explore the psychological tricks and social dynamics that pull people in and keep them hooked. This event will give you insights into cult psychology in a relaxed, informal setting. Don’t miss out on this eye-opening experience!

Richard will share his own experiences of cult involvement and explain how people get recruited.
PART TWO (April 15th 7pm-9.30pm)
Richard will discuss the psychology of brainwashing and persuasion, and how people escape.
Please arrive for 6.30pm
Alcoholic drinks, other refreshments, and food will be available to purchase on the evening.
