Senator Jennifer Boysko, will moderate a discussion with Bianca Tylek, author of The Pr*son Industry: How it Works and Who Profits, and Jesse Crosson, Founder of the Second Chancer Foundation, and author of The Best Part of Pr*son, to unpack the financial incentives driving mass incarceration and explore how we can disrupt them. This event is an opportunity to learn more about the ways the carceral system profits at the expense of marginalized communities and explore the transformative work of Worth Rises and our partners.
