About this Event
On January 20, creators from across Virginia will gather at the General Assembly to engage directly with lawmakers on issues impacting creativity, education, civic participation, and economic opportunity.Participants will meet with their Delegate and Senator, advocate for policies that support creators and cultural workers, and learn how funding and legislation shape the creative economy statewide. Meetings are scheduled in advance, and guidance is provided throughout the day.This experience is designed for creators of all backgrounds. No prior lobbying experience is required.If you believe creativity belongs in public policy, education, and civic life, this day is for you.
