About this Event
Editing is where the story inside the image comes into focus.
In this workshop, Travis W Keyes will take an image from RAW capture to finished edit through the lens of inspiration, storytelling, and creative intention. This will be a Lightroom Classic–dominant session, with select moments in Photoshop, exploring how the storytelling tools of color, lighting, composition, contrast, and subtle refinement can shape the emotional direction of an image. While the live workflow will focus on Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, the tools and techniques discussed are applicable to any processing workflow.
Together, we will look beyond simply “fixing” a photo and focus on crafting a finished image that reflects the artist’s intent. What is the story? Where should the viewer’s eye go? What feeling should remain after they look away?
As part of the workshop, Travis will select 2–3 RAW files, submitted in advance, for a live Edit with Intent session. Selected images will be edited live with the photographer, walking through the creative choices that bring the final image to life.
To be considered, please submit your RAW file. After you register, the dropbox link to submit your RAW FILE will be sent to you.
The event is free to attend. Seating is limited. Registration required.
