The Master of Lodge Scoon & Perth No. 3, Bro. Ewan W. Reid, extends a cordial invitation to qualified Brethren to attend the Lodge Summer Meeting on Saturday 27th June 2026.On this occasion, the Lodge will host a dramatised presentation of an Entered Apprentice Degree set within the historical context of a Second World War Prisoner of War camp.
This setting reflects the importance of structure, ritual, and fellowship in maintaining morale, identity, and resilience in extreme circumstances. Even in captivity, such shared traditions offered continuity and a sense of normality in otherwise disrupted conditions.
The degree will be worked by a visiting team from Lodge Union & Crown No. 307 and promises to offer a thoughtful and engaging interpretation of the Craft within this unusual historical setting.
A ticketed three-course Harmony dinner will follow the meeting at the St Johnstone FC Supporters’ Club, Barossa Street, Perth. Tickets are priced at £25 and may be booked by contacting the Brother Secretary at [email protected] (see separate event post for full details).
The North East Corner collection during the meeting will be in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
As seating within the Lodge room is limited, Harmony ticket holders will be given seating priority during the meeting.
All qualified Brethren will be most welcome.
Please note that entry to the Masonic Temple is via the door on Blackfriars Street.
