The Pretty Goods are a Shelbyville, KY band fusing their collective musical influences of blues, rock, soul, and country to create their unique blend of Americana. With a focus on vocal harmony, tasteful arrangements, and introspective songwriting, they are building their fanbase show-by-show in Central Kentucky and beyond.
Taylor Lansdale grew up in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, where horse country gives way to the Appalachian Mountains. That “in-between” is evident in his songs, landing somewhere between Prine, Isbell, and Petty. Pairing a clear voice with jarringly honest lyrics, his songs cut close enough to make listeners believe that his stories are their own.
