About this Event
Start the summer off right! Join us for YEAR 2 of The Prelude happening on Juneteenth ( June 19th ) from 2p-8p at Pocket Change. This event will be hosted by our founder, Sofia Moussier. The perfect way to spend this holiday celebrating the entire diaspora on a rooftop! Play a game of spades or uno, meet a new friend, maybe a husband or wife, listen to live sets from all woman DJs, eat great food from our food truck, and more.
The Prelude is an annual day party that brings the community together through music and culture. This party typically happens at the start of the summer hence the name the prelude. It's all genuine energy filled with dancing, singing, and having a great time.
