About this Event
The Pre Game: Prepping for a Safer and Kinkier Experience
This event is to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space to discuss Chemsex. Chemsex is the use of substances before or during sexual intercourse to enhance or facilitate the experience (www.chemsexharmreduction.org/what-is-chemsex). With the recent launch of "Don't Die High", Chicago House wants to continue the awareness of Black gay men dying from overdosing and increase the use of Narcan and Fentynal Testing strips.
Members from Black gay/bi/same gender loving and the kink/fetish communities will discuss with Dr. Maurice "Dr. Mo" Brownlee (Wellness Homes of Chicago) in a panel discussion, lead by Dr. Keith Green, Executive Director of Chicago Black Gay Men Caucus and Co-chair of the Chicago Methamphetamine Task Force. Resources from organizations will be available and sexual health screenings are conducted by Chicago House.
This event is FREE to attend, but RSVP is required. One (1) free drink ticket for those who attend and free parking for first 25 attendees (FIRST COME, FIRST PARK). Entertainment provided by DJ T Kidd.
