About this Event
This event is designed for students ages 14-19.
Too often, youth voices are left out of critical policy debates and decisions at the Minnesota Capitol. But Minnesota students know firsthand the impact policies have on their learning, safety, and mental health—and it’s time to ensure your experiences are heard.
Come out on Saturday, Feb. 22 to hear about current education debates and how young people like you can influence them.
Join the EdAllies team to discuss the current political landscape and key education priorities for the legislature in 2025, and build a plan to take action on the issues that you care about most.
Agenda includes:
- Presentations from policy experts on issues that directly impact high school students
- Discussion of key issues young Minnesotans are facing
- Hands-on planning on how to make your voice heard and get engaged during the legislative session
- Free lunch!
