Who Is It For?
The Power of YOU is for women, who are looking for a more fulfilled life. Since January 2020 to December 2023, through the generosity of funders including The National Lottery, we have delivered over 40 workshops and reached out to more than 400 women.
It doesn’t matter what the circumstance. It could be moving forward after counselling or therapy, regaining confidence after going through a difficult period, whether that is domestic abuse, financial difficulties, redundancy, bullying, loss of a loved one, isolation, or sudden illness. It could also be low self-esteem through the perimenopause/menopause, or mild to medium mental health issues. Whatever the situation 'The Power of YOU' is a life changer!
Attending 'The Power of YOU Workshop' doesn't end there. We have a growing and diverse community of women, who are coming together, making friends, sharing their stories, and realising they also have their own unique talents. The Compassionate Voices calendar of events, both face to face and online means we all stay connected.
Sharon Bull (founder of Compassionate Voices) shares her journey. She openly talks about her 30 years lived in experiences with mental health issues and how she now uses this to help women and girls.
Through the generosity of the National Heritage Fund on the 1st June 2024, Compassionate Voices could take over twenty women to Liverpool.
