Il 28 Giugno presso il The Social Hub Belfiore vi trasporteremo in un mondo nel quale ogni
forma di amore verrà celebrata attraverso le vostre performances sulla Runway.
Che il tuo messaggio sia politico, di autodeterminazione o di amore per la diversità,
raccontacelo in chiave Ballrom.
Come ogni anno parte del ricavato della ball andrà a supportare le attività dell’associazione
Arcigay Firenze Altre Sponde, che anche in questa edizione ha contribuito e collaborato alla
realizzazione dell’evento.

sottoporsi ad un intervento di riassegnazione di genere e a combattere per ottenere la rettifica
dei documenti. Perse il suo lavoro per le continue segnalazioni alle autorità e usò il sex work
per accumulare i soldi per pagarsi l’operazione.
Nelle sue interviste ha più volte detto che pur lavorando per strada, ha sempre portato in alto la
sua eleganza.

di testi scolastici.

Negli ultimi anni l’utilizzo dell’AI sta crescendo in maniera esponenziale, con svariate
implicazioni etiche, morali e ambientali. Immagini e contenuti creati ad hoc per essere perfette
agli occhi altrui, lasciando poco spazio all’umanità, all’autenticità e all’amore per noi stess.
Ma nonostante i passi da gigante fatti dall’intelligenza artificiale, nei contenuti prodotti con
essa sono sempre presenti dei dettagli “fuori posto”: fai tuo questo concetto e presenta un look
che trasudi perfezione, ma con almeno un dettaglio “off” che aggiunga un tocco in più al tuo
outfit.

formato che preferisci purché sia ben visibile per i judges!
VOGUE FEM (FQ, BQ, Women, Drags, GNC)-Madoka Magica 🪄
L’anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica ha avuto un impatto culturale fortissimo per l* amant*
del genere. Uno dei fil rouge nella sua intricatissima trama è rappresentato dal rapporto tra due
delle protagoniste: Homura e Madoka.
La prima vive un sentimento talmente forte che si trasforma in ossessione, la seconda invece
un amore verso il prossimo che la porta all’annullamento di sé.
Per qualcun* quello tra loro è amore, per altr* un rapporto platonico, quello che è certo è che
sono unite da un legame indissolubile. Ispirati ai loro schemi colore per il tuo outfit.

“your name.” ha segnato un vero e proprio “moment” alla sua uscita nel 2016. La trama segue
la storia di due liceali, Taki e Mitsuha, che pur non essendosi mai visti scoprono di essere
inspiegabilmente legati da qualcosa di profondo e indissolubile, spesso simboleggiato nel film
con un nastro rosso. Nel lungometraggio li vediamo per lo più nelle loro divise da liceali, con
dettagli di colori diversi: verdi per Taki, Rossi per Mitsuha.

Negli anni ’70 la lettera greca lambda minuscola divenne il simbolo della Gay Activists
Alliance, che nacque dopo i moti di Stonewall a seguito di alcune divergenze all’interno del
Gay Liberation Front.
L’Alliance aveva il principale scopo di portare avanti nel sistema politico la lotta per i diritti
delle persone della comunità LGBT, senza però schierarsi o allearsi con alcun partito.
Inizialmente prettamente legata alla comunità gay, presto il suo focus si espanse a tutte le
soggettività appartenenti alla comunità.
La lettera lambda simboleggia lo scambio di energia, la sinergia e l’unità sotto pressione.

I corpi sono tutti politica, diversi e forti e da celebrare. Troppo spesso però, sono oggetti di
conversazione e di critiche, vengono paragonati, giudicati dalla società e purtroppo anche da
noi stess*.
Durante il tuo 10’s scrivi su un manifesto/cartellone/telo un messaggio di self love e orgoglio
verso il tuo corpo, e servilo con fierezza in tutto il suo splendore.

SEX SIREN OTA- Eusexua / EUSEXUA Afterglow 🫦
Nel 2025, FKA Twigs ha rilasciato gli album “Eusexua” e il suo successore “Eusexua
Afterglow”; il titolo è un neologismo che la cantante ha descritto come “un sentimento di
euforia sessuale talmente intensa da avere la sensazione di trascendere la propria forma umana”.
Per la promozione dei due progetti, l’artista ha utilizzato diversi elementi per creare una vera e
propria estetica legata al progetto. Outfit con forme “aliene” (come punte o curve esasperate),
disegni deformati sul volto, accessori e applicazioni argento, materiali quasi impercettibili
(mesh e tulle) e elementi plastici sono solo alcuni di essi. Scegli uno o più di questi elementi

Storica attivista per i diritti della comunità trans in Italia e presidente del MIT (Movimento
Identità Trans), è stata nominata al Nobel per la Pace nel 2025.
Nella sua carriera conta svariate pubblicazioni tra libri e opere teatrali, oltre alla partecipazione
a diversi documentari e cortometraggi.
Nelle sue apparizioni pubbliche indossa quasi sempre delle spillette sugli abiti, utilizza questo
dettaglio per realizzare il tuo look.

La Romanina
She is a well known representative of the Italian Trans community, and one of the first people in Italy to undergo a gender reassignment surgery. She is also known for her strong fight in order to achieve the change of her ID, so that it could represent who she really is.
She lost her job due to the continuous complaints she received for being trans, and she then used sex work to gather enough money to pay for her surgery.
She stated multiple times in interviews that even while she was working on the street, she did that while keeping faith to her elegance.

Mariasilvia Spolato was the first woman in Italy to publicly come out as a lesbian, becoming one of the pioneers of the Italian movement for LGBTQIA+ rights.

Be inspired by her former profession and walk the category representing a teacher.

In the past few years, the use of AI is growing exponentially, along with its ethical, moral and environmental consequences. Images and contents that are fabricated to be perfect to the eyes of other people, but that leave no space to humanity, authenticity and self love.
Despite the evolution of AI, in the contents created with it there are always some details that are “out of place”.
Embody this concept, create a look that looks perfect but has a detail that is “off”, to give your effect a unique touch.

When a love story ends, it often leaves deep wounds: it takes time, patience and a lot of band aids to repair a broken heart. 💔
Play with this concept for your look and choose if you want to portray pain or rebirth, but on adjective alone should be used to describe your look: OVAH!

This is a staple for the Power of Love Kiki Ball: there is no mandatory for your look, but for the 10s bring a picture of your ballroom crush (or crushes 👀). It can be in any format, but the judges need to see it!

Madoka Magica
Puella Magi Madoka Magica has a had a great cultural impact for the lovers of its genre of anime. One of the keys of its complex plot is the relationship between two of the protagonists: Homura and Madoka.
The first experiences a feeling so strong that it turns into obsession, the second one a love for others so deep that leads her to annihilate her own self.
For some what they share is love, for others just a platonic feeling, but what's certain is that the feeling that unites them is strong and unbreakable. Be inspired by their color schemes for your look on the runway.

Cutie Honey
For many she is considered the ancestors of Sailor Moon and the mahō shōjo genre, Cutie Honey is an android fighter who broke all the schemes thanks to her cheekiness, cunning and irreverence.
In her first appearance she wear a red and black catsuit with details and cut outs in the shape of hearts: be inspired by her look for your effect!

OLD WAY OTA
your name.
“your name.” represented a cultural moment when it came out in 2016. The plot follows the story of two high school students, Taki and Mitsuha. Even if they never met, they discover that they are connected by something deep and unbreakable, often represented in the movie with a red ribbon.
During most of the movie they are wearing their high school uniforms, with different colors for their details: green for Taki, red for Mitsuha.
MANDATORY: wear a high school uniform with red or green details.

Lambda (λ)
In the 70s the Greek letter Lambda became a symbol for the Gay Activists Alliance, born after the Stonewall Riots because of some internal misalignments in the Gay Liberation Front.
The alliance had the goal to take the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights inside the political system, without taking the sides of a specific party.
At the beginning the Alliance was strictly connected to the Gay community, but it soon expanded its scope to all members of the LGBTQIA+ spectrum.
The letter Lambda is a symbol for energy exchange, sinergy and unity under pressure.

Bodies are political, different, strong and something to be celebrated. Nevertheless they are too often used to criticize, they get compared and judged not only by society but also by ourselves.
For your 10s, bring a manifesto/sign/sheet with a self love message for your body, and serve it with fierceness, in all its beauty.

Eusexua / EUSEXUA Afterglow
In 2025, FKA Twigs released her albums “Eusexua” and “Eusexua Afterglow”. The title is a word created by the singer to express “a feeling of sexual euphoria so deep that it makes you feel like you are transcending your human form”.
For promoting the projects, the artist used different visual elements to create an actual esthetic connected to the project. Outfits with alien-like shapes (like points or exaggerated curves), warped drawings on her face, silver accessories and applications, impalpable materials like tulle or mesh and platic elements are just of them.
Choose one or more of these concepts to bring your vision of sexual euphoria to the judges.
