The Power of Black Wellness: A Journey Through Health, Culture, and Legacy
In honor of Black History Month, Cut Seven presents “The Power of Black Wellness: A Journey Through Health, Culture, and Legacy”, a celebration of the incredible contributions and resilience of the Black community in the realm of health, wellness, and fitness. This empowering panel will feature Black leaders from a diverse range of professions—fitness trainers, healthcare providers, wellness influencers, and business owners—who will share their insights and experiences on creating access to health and wellness resources for Black individuals.
This panel will explore crucial topics like overcoming health disparities, embracing culturally responsive care, and highlighting Black fitness role models who are changing the narrative around wellness. Our discussion will also highlight the importance of mental health, nutrition, and physical activity in building a more equitable, healthy future. Through this event, we aim to honor the legacy of Black wellness traditions while uplifting the voices of those driving change and advocating for better health outcomes in the Black community.
