About this Event
We’re excited to invite you to The Positive Equine Connection: Building Healthy Coping Skills, a partnered event between Positive Somebody and the Equine Center For Learning. This hands‑on experience brings together emotional wellness activities and the calming presence of horses to help kids build confidence, understand their feelings, and practice healthy coping skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Here’s a look at the activity stations we’ll be offering:
Emotions & Mindfulness Station
Kids will explore emotions using our weather emojis and learn simple breathing, grounding, and yoga techniques.
Sensory Bottle Station
Children can create their own calming sensory bottles.
Positive Self‑Talk & Self‑Care Station
The horses will paint, and each child will add a positive affirmation to their artwork.
Journal Decorating Station
A creative space for kids to decorate journals that support reflection and emotional expression.
Healthy Habits Station
Hands‑on learning about nutrition, hydration, and sleep — plus sleep mask and water bottle decorating.
Miniature Horse Station
Time in the stables with the minis for connection, confidence‑building, and gentle interaction.
This event is all about helping kids understand their emotions, build healthy coping skills, and feel supported in a positive, welcoming environment.
