Featuring a Class 50 throughout, join us for a one way journey to the Severn Valley Railway from the comfort of your Mark One coach. This charter, operated by Hanson and Hall, will be hauled by Class 50 50008 Thunderer. 'The Positioning Move' is the first leg of a fantastic five day 50 marathon; please see separate fixture details for the main event!
On board, visit our famous Real Ale and Cider Bar for a selection of hand pulled real ales, served by our expert Bar Stewards. A Snack Bar of hot and cold drinks, snacks and light refreshments will be provided.
All profits from this charter will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. There will be a charity raffle, with a wide range of fantastic prizes to enjoy.
With a choice of boarding points, this charter includes the opportunity to cover the Severn Valley Railway connection, and enjoy a leisurely afternoon travelling to Kidderminster with a few interesting route details added to the mix. An afternoon arrival provides plenty of time to check in to your hotels and enjoy dinner and refreshments. The 'The King and Castle' at Kidderminster comes highly recommended!
