Featuring a pair of Class 50s operating top 'n tail throughout, join us for a three-day 16 CSVT powered exploration of the North West from the comfort of your Mark One coach. This charter, operated by Hanson and Hall, will be hauled by Class 50 50008 'Thunderer' and a classmate supplied by the Class 50 Alliance. The '16 CSVT Explorer' is the main event of a fantastic five-day Class 50 marathon; please see separate fixture details for the associated shoulder fixtures. On board, visit our famous Real Ale and Cider Bar for a selection of hand pulled real ales, served by our expert Bar Stewards. Please note that consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited on the Merseyrail network. A Snack Bar of hot and cold drinks, snacks and light refreshments will be provided.
All profits from this charter will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. There will be a charity raffle each day, with a wide range of fantastic prizes to enjoy.
