POETRY & SPOKEN WORDS SESSION:
Locus Platform is hosting the first Poetry & Spoken words event at THE POST BAR, London on the 9th of January, followed by a Jazz Fusion Live band.
Dimmed light and soft atmosphere, followed by an up-beat Jazz Fusion band led by drummer David Collum II.
Durig the poetry session, the amazing singer Cièlle will presents us her singles and talk about her lyrics between one poet and the other.
Ciélle is a singer-songwriter originally from Cyprus, now pursuing her music career in London.
Know for her “realness, passionate and slow” sound, she draws inspiration from R&B and Soul.
With authenticity at the core of her artistry, she continues to captivate audiences with her unique style and soulful performances.
In occasion of the first night, there won't be a set theme for the night.
JAZZ JAM SESSION
late-night jazz fusion jam session hosted by drummer David Collum II and band, built on improvisation, rotating players.
David Collum II: Drummer from Chicago, Illinois, whose style defies boundaries. He brings a focused blend of funk, jazz, gospel Latin, and fusion. His drumming is precise but raw, layered and minimal in the same breath.
David has shared the stage with legends such as Sting, Raheem DeVaughn, Eric Gales, Tommy Campbell, and Buddy Guy, proving his versatility and magnetic presence across genres.
