This DC-based, pop-rock cover band has a knack for producing fun, seasonal shows with party atmospheres. Throughout 2024, the CapRat$ sold out multiple shows, and even shut down the street at Adams Morgan PorchFest! When you party with the CapRat$, a good time is always guaranteed.

Theo is an engineering student who likes to sing and play guitar, and Molly is a law student who likes to drum. In 2023, after a single jam session, they formed grlztoy! grlztoy is an indie band based in the DMV.

Jem Wilde
Jem Wilde is a singer-songwriter and artist whose indie folk-rock songs showcase tender but vibrant melodies and a dedication to poetic honesty. His music covers a range of subjects including queer identity, trauma and catharsis, and the nuances of human relationships. Jem’s multidisciplinary background as a classically-trained dancer and poet has shaped his artistic perspective and professional ethic. Inspired by everyday magic, he is committed to giving voice to untold stories and handling heavy and intimate concepts with a gentle touch. Jem and his unique sound have been deemed “ethereal,” “warm,” and like “a breath of fresh air,” with comparisons to artists like Julien Baker, Briston Maroney, and Phoebe Bridgers. Jem also loves bees and has beenknown to befriend them.
