Do you love gardening or want to try it out? Then don't miss The Plant Exchange! On May 2nd from 9 AM to 11 AM, the Gallia County Convention and Visitors Bureau invites you to the Gallipolis City Park. We welcome anything garden-related, including flowers, vegetables, greenery, succulents, seeds, bulbs, soil mixtures, empty flats, pots, cuttings, herbs, tools, and more! Organized tables will be available for you to drop off your items and pick up new ones.Don’t have any items to exchange but still want to get started? No problem! Gardening supplies and starter plants will be donated to the event, so you can grab some free gardening equipment and plants.
Once you’ve stocked up for the season, join Gallipolis in Bloom at 11 am to help beautify the community by planting flowers in and around the Gallipolis City Park. You’ll learn helpful planting tips and get a chance to contribute to the beautification of Gallipolis. This is a fantastic opportunity to volunteer and get involved in our community!
