Apotemnophobia delivers abrasive, putrid, and heavy death metal rooted in the 90s European sound, drawing influence from titans like Demigod, Bolt Thrower, and Convulse. Since their formation in 2013 in Querétaro, the band has released a 6-track EP Purity and the Stench (2016) and their full-length Putrid Passages from Cadaveric Tales (2022) through Vomit Records and Abyssmo Productions. The Pit, formed in 2004, blends death and melodic thrash metal with a darker, Lovecraftian twist. Their debut Disrupted Human Symmetry (2008) was followed by a revamped, more aggressive sound on their 2023 release Of Madness and Evil Whispers via Personal Records. With a powerful lineup featuring original members and new blood, The Pit is preparing a third album for early 2026.
