Our new production, The Picture of Dorian Gray, was adapted by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, setting the story in 1980s London. This adaptation retains the core themes of beauty, morality, and the corrupting influence of hedonism, but updates the setting and adds a modern sensibility. The play features a bisexual Dorian, obsessed with beauty and pleasure, living a double life. Warning: This production is for mature audiences, 16 years or older. It contains the following: Adult language, sexual content and situations, violence, flashing lights, suicide and death ideation, gun shots, LGBTQ+ material, simulated drug and alcohol use.
The Picture of Dorian Gray runs August 28th -September 14th.
