The Phil DeGreg Trio

Pianist Phil DeGreg is a longtime presence on the Cincinnati jazz scene. A graduate of Yale and the University of North Texas, he subsequently toured the world with Woody Herman's Thundering Herd, After returning to his hometown of Cincinnati, he taught for twenty-seven years in the College-Conservatory of Music jazz program and led the house trio at Cincinnati's legendary Blue Wisp Jazz Club. He has performed with Scott Hamilton, Harry Allen, Conrad Herwig, Ira Sullivan, Arturo Sandoval and countless others, and has made 15 CDs. He visits Brazil regularly and performs Brazilian repertoire, jazz standards, and adaptations of pop songs.
