About this Event
The Perinatal Journey and the Professionals that Walk with Them is a collaborative forum bringing together healthcare providers, community-based organizations, and public health partners to explore maternal mental health and substance use across the continuum, from preconception through the first year postpartum.
Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and shared dialogue, participants will:
- Deepen understanding of perinatal mental health and substance use disorders
- Explore trauma-informed and culturally responsive care practices
- Learn from community-based models that are already supporting families
- Strengthen cross-sector collaboration and referral pathways
- Identify opportunities to improve support for both families and the workforce that serves them
All perinatal health professionals and community supporters, including clinicians, behavioral health providers, nurses, administrators, doulas, and anyone committed to improving maternal mental health are invited to attend.
Together, we will build a more connected, compassionate, and culturally responsive system of care.
