About this Event
Join us for a joyful, heartfelt Palestinian-style brunch on Sunday, Nov 23
— a celebration of culture, compassion, and connection through food, music, and community.
On November 15th, Calgary witnessed something truly beautiful — one of the first Palestinian flag-raisings in the entire country, a small but powerful victory that reawakened our community’s spirit. In a moment of grief and uncertainty, we created a spark of love that spread across the nation and reminded us of who we are when we stand together. This Peace Brunch carries that same energy forward: a warm, gentle gathering where we celebrate this win not through dancing, but by showing up for one another, sharing food, and building the love that keeps our community standing. And with every plate served, a small contribution goes directly toward supporting students whose lives and futures have been shaken by war — a reminder that even the softest acts of love can change someone’s life.
