The Tunnel 2 Towers foundation was formed in honor of FDNY Fire Fighter Stephen Siller who lost his life in the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the world trade center. Stephen’s family (wife, brothers and sisters) started the foundation’s Smart Home program to assist our nation’s most catastrophically wounded veterans by providing them with smart homes specially adapted to their unique needs. Since its inception the foundation has vowed to build 200 such homes, with 80 already completed or in process. The foundation also has a special Fallen First Responder Program to aid the families of first responders across the country that lose their lives in the line of duty. This fund assists by way of mortgage payoffs for the families left behind. Additionally, we have our Gold Star Family program. When a soldier loses their life in combat, they frequently leave behind a young family that relied on them for housing and numerous other necessities. The Tunnel 2 Towers foundation steps in and helps these families by providing them with a mortgage free home as our way of taking care of the families left behind by a soldier who gave their lives protecting us.
Proceeds from The Patriot Ride as well as The Never Forget Concert will benefit the Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation as well as local first responders.
Make sure to get your card stamped all along the route to be entered into the raffles for great prizes from all of our sponsors. The Patriot Ride will see Jeepers travel 5 stops through Northwest Jackson County, into the beautiful town of Leslie before taking a scenic drive through the Waterloo area enroute to the wondeful downtown of Chelsea, followed by another beautiful drive to the quint village of Manchester before arriving at Keeley Park in Jackson to enjoy The Never Forget Concert featuring Sadie Bass, Jason Cross, & Kevin Wolff.
