About this Event
Join us for an inspiring Women’s History Month Celebration on March 12 from 5:00–7:30 PM, featuring Brenda Wilkerson, President and CEO of AnitaB.org, as she presents her keynote, “The Past We Inherit. The Future We Build.” This engaging talk will reflect on the legacy of women in technology, the challenges and progress of today, and the collective actions needed to shape a more innovative future.
As a special thank‑you to our community, all attendees will be entered into a drawing for one complimentary pass to GHC 2026 in Anaheim, California!
This event is organized by IEEE Chicago Section, IEEE Women in Engineering Chicago, and Vision 1948, and proudly sponsored by North Central College and InspiHer TECH.
The event will be held at Stevenson Hall within the Dr. Myron Wentz Science Center at North Central College. A networking session will follow the keynote, offering attendees the opportunity to connect with peers, mentors, and leaders across the STEM community. Light refreshments will be served.
