Come see Mr.Cardboard (Stamptown, Chris Gethard's That Show, Edinburgh Fringe), something between a jovial imaginary friend and an all-powerful god of play, return to face his most trying hour yet! After being called forth from his slumber, Mr. Cardboard flies you to his domain, The Land of Cardboard; but, is the Land of Cardboard the magical place it once was? Mr. Cardboard must battle with a higher power for the pleasure of the audience and to save the eternal spirit of the Land of Cardboard, in this theatrically forward solo clown show by Miles Calderon.
Miles Calderon is a New York-based clown, theatre maker, and graduate of Ecole Philippe Gaulier, known for his performance work as his character Mr.Cardboard and as a part of Zach Zucker's Stamptown. His first show, a two-hander clown play with Levi Meltzer (Readymades) called simply Mr.Cardboard (★★★★★ - The Student, Atlanta Fringe Audience Choice 2024, “The perfect show!”- Luke Rollason) premiered at Hoots Potterrow in 2024 and returned to Edinburgh at Underbelly Cowgate in 2025. Miles has been performing at the Fringe since 2023 and last year performed with 5 shows (Mr. Cardboard, The Ritual, Stamptown, Don Toberman: Ping Pong Champ, and A Night of Drama) for a total of 77 performances. Miles regularly performs, directs, and produces shows in New York City most notably “Mr. Cardboard Presents…” his own vaudeville style variety night at The Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre.
