Southbank Playhouse presents the female version of The Odd Couple by Neil Simon, directed by Clare Greer.
Neil Simon’s revision of his hugely successful comedy, The Odd Couple, sees the lead characters transformed into Olive Madison and Florence Unger. Olive, Florence and their group of girlfriends enjoy weekly Trivial Pursuit nights. When Florence needs help the girls rally round and Olive invites her to move in as her roommate. However, Olive and Florence have VERY different personalities. Where Olive is messy, untidy, and unconcerned about the state of her apartment, Florence is obsessively clean, tidy, and obsessed with hygiene. When Olive’s easy-going outlook on life clashes with Florence’s highly-strung neurotic tendencies hilarity ensues and their friendship is tested to the limit.

Performance Details
- Doors open at 7:30pm. Curtain at 8pm
- As a charity, Southbank does not charge a fee for our productions and depends on the generous donations of our patrons.
