《章魚的花園》 是一場中英雙語的即興演出，靈感來自地球上最神祕、也最聰明的生物之一——章魚 🐙✨
🤯 章魚的思考方式與人類不同。
牠們在頭部有一個中樞大腦，同時在八隻觸手中各自擁有「分散式的大腦」，每一隻觸手都能獨立感知、判斷與行動。這種智慧是分散的、身體化的，並且高度回應周遭環境。章魚能偽裝、解決問題、躲避掠食者，甚至會玩耍 🙌
在這場演出中，即興表演者正是實踐這樣的原則 🌱
由一位表演者，或觀眾（中樞／Crown）提供靈感來源——可能是一個畫面、一種情緒、一段聲音、一個想法，或是一首歌。其他表演者（延伸／Reach）接收這些訊號，各自轉化、回應、自由發展——即使不知道全貌，仍始終為整個即興 「有機體」 服務。

“The Octopus’ Garden” is a bilingual (Mandarin-English) improvisational performance inspired by one of Earth’s most mysterious and intelligent creatures—the octopus 🐙
🧠 Octopuses don’t think like humans.
They have one central brain in their crown, and eight additional brains in their tentacles, each capable of sensing, deciding, and acting independently. Their intelligence is distributed, embodied, and deeply responsive to the environment. They camouflage, problem-solve, escape predators, and even play 🧩
In this show, improvisers embody that same principle 💡
One performer, or the audience (the Crown) offers a source of inspiration—an image, emotion, sound, or idea, or song. The other players (the Reach) receive it, transform it, and respond autonomously—without knowing the full picture, yet always in service of the whole improvised organism.
Come and explore the Octopus’ Garden through a dynamic mix of short-form games and long-form scenes, live inspiration, music, and evolving character relationships 🫂✨
Like the movements of an octopus’ tentacles, every performance is a living system—surprising, and impossible to repeat 👀

● Refund Policy
1. If cancelled 11+ days before performance, FIG will reimburse 70% of ticket price
2. If cancelled 3-10 days before performance, FIG will reimburse 50% of ticket price
3. If cancelled 2 days before performance, ticket is non-refundable

1. Doors open at 7:30pm for audience seating
2. No outside food or beverage allowed
