Chan Poling is the celebrated songwriter, composer, and performer behind The Suburbs; The New Standards; and a wide variety of theatrical, television, and film scores. His hit musical Glensheen (“shamelessly witty”) returned this year for a 10th anniversary run at the History Theatre in Saint Paul. His second children’s book with illustrator and musician Lucy Michell, The Moons, came out in 2024. His Saint Paul home shares an architect with the Summit Avenue row houses where F. Scott Fitzgerald lived.
