About this Event
Welcome to the Nourished Sister Circle, where we come together to heal our relationship with food.
This Nourished Sister Circle is a safe space for Women of Color (21+) who are navigating challenges with emotional eating and/or binge eating, to come together and explore their relationship with food through mindfulness, self-love, in a healing and empowering way.
While these experiences can overlap, they are not the same and both deserve understanding, compassion, and the right kind of support.
Emotional eating often involves turning to food to cope with stress, sadness, boredom, or overwhelm. Binge eating includes episodes of eating large amounts of food with a sense of loss of control, often followed by guilt, shame, or distress.
Through sharing stories, practicing self-care techniques, and learning about mindful eating, we aim to support each other in nurturing a positive and balanced approach to nourishment. Whether you struggle with emotional eating, binge eating, or simply want to deepen your connection to your body and the food you eat, this group is for you.
Join us for open-hearted conversations led by a license therapist, through guided breathwork/meditation, and a sense of community that will uplift and inspire you on your journey to a healthier and happier relationship with food.
